Business Analyst - KM/HBA2

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst role, which sits within a newly created Change Management team. The overall aim of the role is to help the organisation make effective decisions and exploit new business opportunities by providing expert documentation focussing on defining, articulating and delivering change.

We require at least 5 years' experience of end to end delivery within the business analysis life cycle from inception, requirements gathering to testing and rollout. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identification, prioritisation, validation and documentation of clear, tangible business requirements.
  • Accurately assess and effectively communicate the impact of proposed business, operational and technical change, including recommendations to minimise disruption caused by change.
  • Identify and drive process improvements across the organisation, including Business Analysis and Change Management processes.
  • Identification of appropriate analysis activities on a project.
  • Utilise best practice tools and techniques to aid communication and understanding, ensuring project documentation is fit for purpose.
  • Build and maintain positive and professional working relationships across the business, with both internal and external stakeholders; mentor and support less experienced business analysts.
  • Planning and management of own activities and agreement of approach to analysis, with Change Management Lead Business Analyst and the relevant Project Manager.
  • Mentor more Junior Business Analysts, as and when required.

Background & Experience:

  • Experience of delivering on e-commerce projects in an AGILE environment would be highly desirable.
  • Experience of participating throughout the full life cycle of projects.
  • Experience facilitating workshop sessions with both internal and external attendees, including senior/Board level stakeholders/sponsors.
  • Experience of modelling processes and/or data and production of appropriate documentation.
  • Has been responsible for production of complete and signed-off business requirements from elicitation and analysis through to validation and documentation and management of subsequent change control process.
  • Experience of working in a multifunctional team, including experience of working with and selection of 3rd party suppliers.
  • ISEB qualified is preferable.
